GajagoKorea uses cookies and similar technologies to help the website function properly, remember privacy choices, and understand how the site is used.
This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, how GajagoKorea uses them, and how you can manage your choices.
This policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website can store on your device when you visit it. Cookies may be used to make a website work, remember preferences, understand how visitors use the site, or support other features.
Similar technologies, such as browser local storage, may also be used for some of these purposes.
Some cookies are placed directly by GajagoKorea. Others may be associated with third-party services used on the website.
2. Types of Cookies We May Use
Strictly Necessary Cookies
These cookies and similar technologies are necessary for the website or its privacy and security features to function properly.
GajagoKorea uses CookieYes to remember visitors’ cookie-consent preferences. The consent cookie helps the website remember whether you have accepted or rejected optional cookies.
Strictly necessary cookies may be used without consent where permitted because they support essential website functionality or the management of privacy choices.
Preference and Functional Cookies
Preference and functional cookies may allow a website to remember choices or support additional features that affect how the site behaves.
If GajagoKorea introduces optional features that require these cookies, they will be handled according to the consent choices available through the website.
Statistics and Analytics Cookies
GajagoKorea uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors use the website, including which pages are visited and how visitors interact with the site. This information helps us evaluate website performance and improve the visitor experience.
GajagoKorea uses Google Consent Mode to communicate visitors’ consent choices to Google. When Analytics consent is denied, Google Analytics cookies are not intended to be stored, although limited cookieless signals may still be transmitted to Google.
When you grant Analytics consent, GA4 may store analytics cookies on your device.
These cookies are used for website statistics and analytics, not to display personalized advertisements.
Details about the Google Analytics cookies used on GajagoKorea and their expiration periods are provided in Section 6.
Marketing and Advertisement Cookies
GajagoKorea does not currently use marketing cookies for personalized advertising or advertising-related tracking.
If we introduce advertising or other services that use marketing cookies in the future, we will update this Cookie Policy and request consent where required.
3. Third-Party Services
GajagoKorea uses selected third-party services to operate the website and understand how visitors use it.
Google Analytics 4 (Google)
Google Analytics 4 helps us understand website traffic, page visits, and visitor interactions.
Google Consent Mode communicates consent preferences to Google’s services. Depending on those preferences, Google may receive limited information without placing analytics cookies.
When Analytics consent is granted, GA4 may use cookies to recognize visits and provide website statistics.
CookieYes
CookieYes provides GajagoKorea’s cookie-consent management system.
It displays the consent banner, provides controls for managing optional cookie categories, and remembers visitors’ privacy choices through a consent cookie.
Other third-party services may be introduced as GajagoKorea develops. We will update this Cookie Policy when additional services involving cookies or similar technologies are implemented.
For more information about how personal information is handled, please see our Privacy Policy.
4. Cookie Consent
GajagoKorea uses CookieYes to manage cookie consent.
Visitors can accept or reject optional cookies and manage available cookie categories through the consent banner.
Analytics consent is denied by default until a visitor grants permission.
Google Consent Mode communicates these preferences to Google. Denying consent prevents the use of GA4 analytics cookies in the configuration we have tested, but does not necessarily prevent all cookieless communications with Google.
Your consent preferences are stored using the necessary cookieyes-consent cookie so the website can remember your choices.
You may change or withdraw your consent as described in Section 5.
5. Changing Your Cookie Preferences
You can change or withdraw your cookie consent choices at any time.
GajagoKorea provides a CookieYes consent-preferences icon near the bottom-left corner of the website. Select this icon to reopen the consent interface and update your choices.
You can also manage or delete cookies through your browser settings. Deleting cookies may cause the consent banner to appear again.
If you experience difficulty accessing the consent controls, please contact us at annyeong@gajagokorea.com.
6. How Long Cookies Remain on Your Device
The length of time a cookie remains on your device depends on its purpose and your browser settings. Some cookies expire when your browsing session ends, while others remain for a defined period.
Google Analytics 4 (GA4)
GajagoKorea uses the following analytics cookies when you grant Analytics consent:
_ga— Helps distinguish visitors._ga_VWJE5MHWNG— Maintains session-related information for GajagoKorea’s GA4 property.
Google’s default expiration period for these cookies is up to two years. Their expiration may be renewed when the Google tag runs, and browser restrictions or settings may shorten their actual lifetime.
CookieYes Consent Cookie
cookieyes-consent— Remembers your cookie-consent choices so the website can apply your preferences on subsequent visits.
This cookie is necessary for managing privacy choices. Its current configuration uses an expiration period of approximately one year.
Withdrawing Consent
When you withdraw Analytics consent, GajagoKorea’s consent-management configuration is intended to stop analytics-cookie storage and remove previously stored GA4 cookies.
This behavior has been verified during our website testing.
7. Changes to This Cookie Policy
GajagoKorea may update this Cookie Policy when website features, third-party services, or applicable privacy practices change.
The Last Updated date at the top of this page will be revised when material changes are made.
If changes affect technologies that require consent, visitors may be asked to make their cookie choices again as appropriate.
